OneDrive CRM — Microsoft 365 Files at Your Customer's Side

Most enterprises store files on OneDrive and SharePoint, not Drive. Connect Microsoft 365 once, then attach any file from personal OneDrive or organizational SharePoint to CRM leads, deals, and contacts.

Understanding the Problem

Microsoft 365 dominates enterprise file storage in Turkey, Germany, and Europe. Sales reps live in Outlook for email, SharePoint for shared documents, and Teams for collaboration — but their CRM is disconnected from all of it. TeknoVesta's OneDrive integration uses Microsoft Graph API with OAuth: each user connects their own Microsoft account, then both personal OneDrive files and SharePoint shared libraries become attachable to CRM records. No Azure AD admin permissions required.

Core Modules

Personal & SharePoint Support

Both personal OneDrive (15GB free or Microsoft 365 expanded) and SharePoint document libraries are browsable through CRM. Mixed teams handled.

Microsoft Graph OAuth

Each user authorizes via Microsoft. Works with personal Outlook.com and Microsoft 365 Business/Enterprise. No admin-level setup.

Folder & File Attachment

Attach entire folders or specific files. Multiple attachments per record. SharePoint library file paths preserved.

Modified-By Tracking

CRM activity log records when SharePoint files are modified and by whom. Sales rep sees "spec sheet v4 updated by engineering" in lead timeline.

KVKK & GDPR Compliance

OAuth tokens encrypted in EU region. SharePoint permissions inherited; CRM stores only links, not file content.

How It Works

1

Connect OneDrive

In user profile, click "Connect OneDrive". Microsoft OAuth flow.

2

Authorize Access

Sign in with Outlook.com or Microsoft 365 account, review permissions (Files.Read for personal, Sites.Read for SharePoint), click Accept.

3

Attach to Record

Open any lead or deal. Click "Attach from OneDrive". Browse personal OneDrive or SharePoint sites.

4

Files Linked

Files appear in record sidebar. Click to open in OneDrive/SharePoint (new tab).

5

Customer Sharing

For customer-facing files, generate shareable Microsoft links from within CRM with expiration and view-only options.

Key Benefits

Enterprise-Ready

Most B2B companies in Europe and Turkey use Microsoft 365. OneDrive integration meets them where they are, no platform migration needed.

SharePoint Native Workflow

Sales reps continue using SharePoint for document collaboration. CRM just adds visibility — no duplicate storage, no parallel systems.

European Data Residency

Microsoft 365 data resides in EU data centers (when configured). Combined with TeknoVesta EU infrastructure, full data residency maintained.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this work with both personal OneDrive and SharePoint?

Yes. Both personal OneDrive (Outlook.com or Microsoft 365 personal storage) and organizational SharePoint document libraries are accessible. The CRM browser shows both.

Do I need Azure AD admin permissions?

No. The integration uses delegated user permissions via OAuth — each user authorizes their own access. Admin consent only required for organizational-wide SharePoint sites (and even then, individual users can still grant access to sites they have permission to).

Can I attach files from Teams chats?

Yes, indirectly. Teams chat files are stored in OneDrive/SharePoint automatically. Attach them via the OneDrive picker.
